 EXTRACT: Instead of a foreword ... A few personal lines should be added to this book before the introduction to the documentation. When the Vatican Archives on March 2, 2020 the holdings of the pontificate of Pius XII. made available to historians, I first looked for material for an ongoing project. In addition, I had the opportunity to research topics that had preoccupied me for years. This also includes the Dutch Jesuit Father Sebastian Tromp, and his name enabled me to find some of the material on the Apostolic Visitation he carried out in Schoenstatt (1951-1953). This material will be the subject of a separate publication. Further research in other archives then revealed the necessary historical certainty, and I was able to claim in the newspaper “Die Tagespost” on July 2nd in Germany and on the same day in the international blog of the Italian journalist Sandro Magister that Father Josef Kentenich had abused the Sisters of Mary. It was mainly about abuse of power, spiritual and emotional abuse, which now and then - I was writing about one case - also included sexual abuse. ...
