CHESTERTON, Gilbert Keith, englischer Schriftsteller, * 29.5. 1874 in London, † 14.6. 1936 in Beaconsfield. 1901 heiratete C. Frances Blogg. Vortragsreisen in Großbritannien, Irland, Italien, Palästina, U.S.A., Polen und Frankreich. Thomas Aquinas"), seine Gedichte (namentlich "The Ballad of the White Horse") und Bühnenstücke.
