 The YEARBOOK of THINKING is a ›magazine of German culture‹ and sees itself as a scientific forum for the analysis of different forms of culture in their specifically German form, as shown in science, philosophy, literature and art. It is determined by the spirit of a cosmopolitan European Germany, the connection between universalism and patriotism.
 The YEARBOOK of THINKING is based on a concept of culture that assumes that, on the one hand, the essence of every culture can only be understood if the culture is viewed in its temporal expansion across the past, present and future, but on the other hand, the development of a culture of contact and mutual fertilization is influenced, i.e. intercultural leeway opens up, and thirdly, the source of inspiration for a culture can be seen in the underlying religion.
 The YEARBOOK of THINKING examines the prevailing structures of thought in different times and epochs. We assume that a system that influences all phenomena can be exposed at the bottom of the diverse cultural phenomena. It represents, as it were, the blood circulation that pulsates through all the branches of culture. The investigation of these structures and their changes, that is, an in-depth analysis of cultures of thought, are the basic motif of the yearbook.
 The YEARBOOK of THINKING is published once a year and is open to all interested parties who feel connected to German culture in a European context, are fascinated by this culture and want to make a positive contribution to this culture.
